Caicey Douglas (she/her)
Caicey is a tried and true social innovator. She develops services for the disability community, and on the side plays sports, runs her non profit’s tech stack (and the non profit itself), consults in behaviour support in the disability community, and is a university student studying to be an Education Assistant, as well as studying sociology.
Caicey lives and grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and still lives there to this day. She takes the experience of every day living in British Columbia, including it’s education system, as well as the disability systems in Canada in general.
Caicey is focused on the big issues of the day, challenging the status quo and the systems that drive our society today, namely ableism, classism, and issues surrounding gender.
Caicey is a part of the LGBTQ community and fully transitioned to being a woman on December 16th, 2025. Caicey advocates for equal rights and is a staunch supporter of the LGBTQ community.
Lastly, Caicey’s favourite sports are alpine skiing, kayaking, swimming, snowshoeing, bowling, bocce, soccer, curling and volleyball.
